Thanks to your generosity over the past ten years of our monastery’s presence in Ireland, we have been growing as a community and have been renovating our living areas and workspaces. We are grateful for the expansion of our remunerative works over the past couple years, but we still need and sincerely ask for the assistance of your donations.

How You Can Help

Regular Donations

While we seek to live the injunction of our Holy Father Benedict to create viable ways of supporting ourselves, like most monasteries we still rely largely upon the generosity of our benefactors. After all of our expenses for electricity, fuel, land upkeep, provisions for the oratory, medical bills, insurance, food, etc., our expenses come to around €40K per month. Regular donations every month, whether of €10, €50, €100, or more, are greatly needed to sustain our work. Every donation matters!

Gifts to help us grow

At the same time, we are in desperate need of renovation and expansion. We have planned various stages for these efforts:

• Stage 1 (€50–€70K) — several projects to reorganize the layout of the grounds and refurbish existing buildings.

• Stage 2 (€150–€200K) — small construction projects oriented to the spiritual benefit of the community and to help us grow our various enterprises.

• Stage 3 (€4 mil.) — Larger construction projects such as our long-awaited Church, a new guesthouse, new buildings, etc.
